We need examples of BAD query letters!
A lot of the reviewers on our list have horror stories about badly written query letters, terrible emails from authors, and otherwise bad author etiquette. We are trying to help authors learn the proper way to contact you for book reviews.
Do you have any examples of bad query letters or bad emails that you would like to share with us (please redact the author's personal information before sending, we aren't trying to publicly shame anyone). We want to use these letters as examples so authors know what NOT to do when contacting you for book reviews.
Also, if you have an example of a GOOD query letter, we'd love to see that, too!
Book update: We are working on the final touches for the Book Reviewer Yellow Pages now, and although we are a bit behind, we should have the buy links active in about 72 hours. Any reviewer that is willing to host a blog post or spotlight about the book will get a free copy from us.
